One of the few fish and chip shops that offer grilled fish on the menu. We had the fried fish (COD) and had it eat in. The serving is large ( I know I have repeated myself, but the serving is large) and was very good the batter on the fish was light and the chips were well cooked, one word of warning the servings are large. So it’s well worth a visit if you are in the area. The next time I am going to try the grilled Cod as it not something I have had at a fish and chip shop, and the friends I was with had it and it looked great. my only problem is that this Fish and Chip shop is 25 miles away and I am outside the delivery area......
Hands down the best fish and chips I’ve ever had! This is no ordinary fish and chips and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are amazing, very accommodating, and go the extra mile to make sure every customer has a great experience. The food is delicious and will leave you wanting more. If you want a good meal with fantastic service you can’t go wrong with a visit to Pier 1!!
Ive never had a bad meal here. They grill fish as well as deep fry. so i can still enjoy fish chips mushy peas without having all the batter on the fish and i can have a few glasses of wine at the same time as enjoying perfect chip shop chips in a good restaurant.
Best Fish and Chips in London! Great portions size, friendly service, yummy food! Dine-In or takeaway always so good;never been disappointed. Apologies for not the best picture; as soon as my meal arrived, I got so excited dug in right away. ????
I'm not normally the greatest fan of fish and chips, however Pier 1 is excellent and well worth 5 stars. The fish is battered, but the batter is very light, tempura fashion. The fish is cooked perfectly, so that the flesh yields but is still firm. The chips are golden, but not burn, crisp and not the least soggy or limp. Licensed premises, friendly, attentive staff. A delight.
