Service is good, the place is nice, the food is not that great honestly... steak is too hard and chewy, lacks flavour, the sauce is too light, watered-down to the point it tastes weird.. honestly you'd get a way more decent meal with the prices you'd pay here, so... sadly, not recommended.. however, the wine is not too bad, everything considered.
I love the place and the steak. But today we arrived without reservation, with the place empty (only 5 tables were taken) and we were told they were fully booked, which is understandable, as we didn’t have a reservation. We ended up eating somewhere close by, and 1.5 hours later walked by with the place which was still empty. The attitude of receptionist was more like “we don’t want more customers in” rather than place being fully booked.
Came here for my son's 21st with a large family group. Slightly annoyed when we arrived, to be kept waiting for our table. Ironic really, considering diners are allocated a 'slot' of 2 hours which I personally find irritating in the first place. Stop this time limit nonsense. People will surely spend more money if they're relaxed and not having to check their watches! Anyhow..... this slight blip was dealt with very smoothly by our experienced waiter, who was trying to gently extricate the people holding us up and keep us happy at the same time! Finally seated, we had a wonderful evening, the food was absolutely delicious, great steaks, starters, desserts and the house Malbec was lovely. My son was made a fuss of, with a complimentary glass of fizz and some churros complete with candle and a lot of happy birthday singing, accompanied by the other diners. Suitably embarrassing for a 21 year old but great fun. Would definitely return, this is a fabulous steak restaurant. Thanks for a hugely enjoyable evening.
